Background
For some NSP staff, steroid use can be an unfamiliar area, from understanding what equipment to provide, what risks are involved in using the different products available and knowing how to advise clients on intramuscular injection.
This complex and increasingly younger client group are often inexperienced and misinformed, relying on fellow gym users or internet forums for information. They are often reluctant to be identified as drug users, and as a result many are unwilling to engage with NSP workers.
In Pursuit of Perfection will answer your questions on steroid use. In addition it will develop frontline services’ knowledge of the specific health and welfare needs of clients using performance enhancing drugs.
Speaker – Kay Stanton
